Chief Operating Officer
I have more than 20 years’ experience – predominantly in healthcare and technology. I have a strong bent for process improvement and project management, which was learned during my early career at McKinsey & Company. I have been fortunate to work with many talented leaders and have created highly-functional teams including but not limited to: product marketing, client relations, training and implementation, strategic planning, human resources.
At McKinsey the trade-off for long hours and frequent travel is exposure to a myriad of customer engagements with crucial business problems to be solved, including but not limited to Delta Airlines, Home Depot, Bank of America, Atlanta Police Department, and Hoescht Celanese. I relocated to Nashville in the late 90s to work for a McKinsey customer, then known as Willis Corroon, in the insurance brokerage industry. After several years working with Willis on a business process improvement initiative and looking for a new opportunity, I found myself at what – comparatively speaking – seemed like a technology start-up, Passport Health Communications.
In my early days at Passport I clearly recall a conversation with my boss asking how something was to be done here and he responds, “how do you want to do it?” The light bulb went off and I realized we were going to build something great. It was going to take a tremendous amount of work but we would learn so much in the process and we were leaders along the way. This is an amazing process to be a part of and to do it at XMI and with their customers is another great opportunity.
My husband Chris and I have six children ages 26 to 8 years old. We live in Lebanon, TN and are active members of Immanuel Baptist Church. We are always coaching at least one sport – most often soccer or basketball. We also love outdoor activities with our kids such as hiking, biking, and even working in the yard. We are co-founders Elisha’s Chariots of Fire, a community organization for families with special needs children.
I received my bachelors from Mercer University in Georgia and an executive MBA from Belmont University but will always be a Georgia Bulldog at heart. Go DAWGS!
