User Support Analyst
I have been working with computers most of my life. When I was about 6 years old my dad brought home our first computer and I remember helping him use the dozens of floppy disks required to install Windows. I proudly attest to have much experience in fixing (and breaking) computers both privately and professionally. At XMI I use that experience to troubleshoot computer problems for users, support hardware and software, and provide recommendations in achieving a company’s IT goals.
I served for six years in the United States Air Force as a Client Service Technician, utilizing my computer skills to keep systems running in the cold blizzards of North Dakota, the tropics of Okinawa, the sands of Dubai, and finally the humid stickiness of Georgia. My goal as an IT professional is to make dealing user’s interactions with technology as painless as possible! If by fixing a stubborn computer I can reduce your stress, make you more efficient, or teach you a new way to utilize your technology, I can call that a successful mission.
When I am not fixing computers, I enjoy the typical geek lifestyle. I am an avid gamer and play everything from old-school pen and paper tabletop games to the latest and greatest console release. I love reading Sci-fi and enjoy pretty much every kind of music there is. I am currently working on attaining my CCNA certification and furthering my computer skills.
